Assistant Project Manager - Building

Project Details

We have been retained by Chun Wo Development Holdings, an established and successful construction, engineering and property development business operating in Hong Kong and throughout Asia, to appoint high calibre individuals to join and be pivotal players in the growth and on-gong success of their build division.

Responsibilities and Duties

Managing and leading the project team to ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, to budget and to the required quality standard
Developing and maintaining a detailed project plan and managing project deliverables in line with the plan.
Monitoring project progress and performance
Managing project scope and change control and escalating issues where necessary to leadership team
Managing the co-ordination of internal & external stakeholders.
Regular progress reporting

Desired Skills and Experience

All rounded exposure in building projects;
Minimum 8 years post-qualification experience preferably gained from a main contractor overseeing large-scale building / construction projects;   
Sound management and interpersonal skills;
Hands-on experience in construction technique;
Good understand of the Building Department's regulations is a must.

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

Degree holder in Building Engineering or related disciplines;
Member of HKIE / MICE / IStructE / CIOB;
