Rare opportunity for BIM Managers looking to start a new job in construction industry and elevate their career in construction to the next level. Our client, a prestigious architectural firm, is looking to expand their team and hire an experienced Beijing-based BIM Manager to work on international projects.

Project Details

You’ll be based in the client’s office in Beijing collaborating with architectural project teams on a broad range of largescale international projects.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Setup, implement and model architectural BIM projects using Revit and Dynamo.
  • Manage standards, drawings, families, and specification model data in a BIM environment.
  • Adapt to challenging workflows and exercise best practice for the delivery of major projects using BIM
  • Guide, assist and provide training for the project team where required
  • Produce and deliver submission drawings and 3D models in various formats including CAD, PDF, Revit, Navisworks and IFC
  • Develop strategies and workflows to overcome unique challenges in delivering Revit models of the client’s design ethos

Desired Skills and Experience

 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Chinese and English
  • Demonstrate a strong proficiency in Revit and Dynamo with at least 5 years of using Revit on projects
  • Basic skills in Navisworks, AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Suite as well as an understanding of Grasshopper and Maya
  • Proficiency to create custom Revit families and develop adaptive components.
  • Ability to pick up new software tools and custom software quickly
  • Ability to develop cross-application workflows
  • Ability to develop team workflows
  • An interest in BIM related developments, tools and software
  • Willingness to continuously expand one’s own professional knowledge and skills
  • Willingness to contribute to the client’s BIM team and office-wide knowledge
  • Excellent organisation skills

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

  • Architectural experience is required with at least a Masters or Post Graduate level education in Architecture
