Manager - Baggage Handling Project
A systems engineer with experience of baggage handling systems- design, installation and commissioning is required for the 3RS project at HK Airport.

The expansion of Hong Kong Airport - one of the world's busiest international passenger and cargo airports.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Prepare concept plans, functional briefings, technical specifications and standards for electrical & mechanical and airport specialist systems to meet users’ requirements
• Provide effective project management of design and construction works for Baggage Handling System (BHS), including overall project planning, control and monitoring of safety, quality and financial aspects of the works
• Assist in leading design consultants and construction contractors to ensure meeting the project design, programme and cost targets
• Coordinate with different project stakeholders to identify design and construction interface problems, and liaise with designers and contractors to produce cost effective solutions to the problems
• Manage the installation, testing and commissioning of the BHS systems projects
Desired Skills and Experience
- Solid experience in management of design, planning and construction works and site supervision of system works in airport operational environment
- Team player with good organization, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Possess a valid HK driving license (Class 1,2) is preferred
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua would be an advantage
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical Engineering or other related disciplines
- Professional qualification in related disciplines gained from recognized professional bodies
- Minimum of 10 years' relevant working experience
- Sound technical knowledge in design and implementation of Baggage Handling System (BHS)/ Material Handling System (MHS)
Candidates with less academic qualification with minimum 15 years’ experience and specialized and extensive knowledge in BHS will also be considered
