Construction careers don't get better than this exciting new opportunity for Planning Engineers. Our client, a top-tier UK based contractor, is looking to appoint an experienced Planning Engineers to to join the utilities planning team on their flagship HS2 project.
Project Details
You will be based at one of their project offices in or near to London.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Utilities Planning Engineer is to support the senior planner and the utilities delivery team in managing the delivery of the utility scope
- Plan and anticipate project demands in terms of labour, materials, equipment and technical challenges;
- Develop project master programme & short term programmes;
- Monitor the site progress;
- Identify changes and impact assessment, and work with the team to provide optimum solution for the works.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Prior experience in planning function in utilities engineering projects
- Knowledge of the development and implementation of Asset utilities works, Planning Standards, WBS and Planning processes in a BIM environment
- Competence in Primavera P6 and Tilos
- Knowledge of Safety, Environment and Risk Management
- Strong communication skills
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Degree in engineering or an appropriate professional qualification
