A major contracting organization in Qatar is urgently requiring a Quality Assurance and Quality Control Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Maintain the QA system of large scale of civil project
• Provide a high level management role with the quality control team
• Proactive approach to preempt and prevent quality related problems 
• Review quality reports and handle any potential risks or incidents
• Provide quality related training to project team and vendor teams
• Liaise with client

Desired Skills and Experience

• At least five years working at QA/QC Manager level
• Previous experience on major civil projects
• Capable of implementing a Quality Assurance Program at project level for high quality building projects including setting up of a Quality Assurance Plan/Procedures, enforcing the QA and QC  systems on company personnel and on main subcontractors, conducting regular audits, leading the QA/QC team on site and coordinating QA/QC matters with the Client’s team
• Experience in the MENA region is required
• QA/QC Manager should have a Lead Assessor or equivalent certification, this is becoming a main criteria imposed by Clients.
• Good team player with excellent communication skills whilst confident and able to work alone as required
• Self motivated and able to drive improvement, change and new initiatives
• Good references required

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

• A University Degree in Engineering (preferably Civil) with extensive relevant experience
