Senior Architect

An experienced Senior Architect is required to join an architecture firm in Hong Kong. This is a post-tender design coordination role with initially 3 month contract. The successful applicant will be based in Hong Kong with one day trip per week to Macau.

Responsibilities and Duties

•  Responsible for Shop drawing reviews
•  Detailed design workshops
•  Monitor the project design direction
•  Coordinate throughout complete project cycles including initiation, schematic design, design development, construction, commissioning and occupancy
•  Coordinate with various departments to ensure the project to be completed in timely and effective manner
•  Perform, review and coordinate all architectural design and field construction management efforts
•  Liaise with consultants and contractors
•  Identify critical success factors and managing project risks, issues and dependencies and managing change holistically

Desired Skills and Experience

•  With relevant experience in Macau casino projects
•  Experience on ballrooms/conference facilities an advantage
•  Proficiency in using AutoCAD
•  Station in Hong Kong, travel to Macau would be required
•  Fluency in written and spoken Cantonese and English

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

•  Degree holder in Architecture
•  HK permanent resident
