This role is responsible for the operation and portfolio programme management in Country using best practices, standard operating procedures to support our business and global functions objectives.

The role will be focusing on managing supply chain Governance within country including vendor due diligence and ongoing supplier management.

The role requires leadership in portfolio management, capital planning and management, supplier governance, risk management and best practices around sustainability, standard operational governance and stakeholder liaison and management. 
  

Project Details

You will be stationed in our client's office in Central, Hong Kong Island.  

Responsibilities and Duties

Portfolio & vendor management

  • To manage the portfolio programme to ensure a consistent professional approach is taken by suppliers on all aspects of the management of capital expenditure 
  • Provide performance information to particular stakeholders.
  • To provide oversight on all project works by managing providers and to provide link between business units and our internal and external stakeholders.
  • To ensure that all portfolio and project information inputted by the various internal stakeholders is up-to-date and accurately reflects the progress of the project.
  • Together with our internal stakeholders, actively manage the risks and opportunities of the portfolio budget with consistent reporting process as well as collating entity and functional stakeholders’ requirement.
  • To ensure the portfolio and projects are managed by the internal stakeholders in the most cost effective and efficient. Budget are controlled at every stages and governance is adhered to.

 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in client project portfolio  management.
  • Diplomatic communications skills essential
  • Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to negotiate influence and persuade others.
  • Able to work under pressure 

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

  • Degree holder in relevant disciplines
  • Memberships of relevant professional institutions; MCIOB, MHKIE, RICS desirable
