Fabulous opportunity for a Senior Planning Engineer to join a close knit client team on a major infrastructure project in Hong Kong. This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Providing planning and programming supports during the development process of projects from planning/ study stage to scheme design, detailed design, tendering, construction and commissioning
- Working in close liaison and coordination with various stakeholders to identify constraints and all interface issues/ requirements to ensure that they are properly incorporated into the contract documents; and
- Ensuring that all programming milestones and key dates are met during the construction stage and providing recommendations to ensure timely completion of projects

Desired Skills and Experience

- At least 10 years’ relevant experience, of which minimum of 6 years should be in project management role
- Proven practical experience in construction planning and programming of major multi-disciplinary projects
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
- Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and analytical skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications and project management tools including Primavera Project Planner

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s degree holder with professional qualification in Civil Engineering or other related disciplines
