Senior Quantity Surveyor

A reputable Hong Kong based Quantity Surveying consultancy urgently require a Senior QS to work in Macau on a large project. The ideal candidate will have some previous MEP project experience. You will be based on site and responsible for valuations of variations.

Project Details

A large scale construction project based in Macau.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Contract administration including the preparation, valuation and submission of variations:
- Maintenance of all commercial matters
- Monthly preparation and submission of progress reports
- Liaise with project and accounts staff to compile all relevant information
- Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner at all times
- Identify and minimise risks for the company and protect the company’s interests
- Provide progress reports to senior management as requested

Desired Skills and Experience

- Track record of working in Hong Kong/Macau as a Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Previous MEP project experience is an advantage
- Experience in the preparation, valuation and submission of variations
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Competent IT skills and industry software knowledge

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
- Professional qualification such as MRICS/MHKIS is an advantage
